About Us

Shannon Sivula is the principal designer/seamstress at S.M. Sivula by Design. She has 20 plus years of specialty sewing experience. Those 20 plus years have included work in wedding, bridesmaid, mothers, childrens, and pageant dresses as well as skating and dance costumes.

Her first forway into sewing was for a high school sewing competition. After taking first place, she began to dream of a career in clothing design. Upon receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, she started a career in the finance field. Shortly thereafter with the helpful nudge of a friend and the support of family, S.M. Sivula by Design began taking clients. With an adventurous spirit, confidence, and a smile, she has taken on the mildest to the wildest requests, and succeeded. Using only referrals from satisfied clients as a marketing strategy, the business has maintained a steady client flow. Now with the additon of an online presence, Shannon is ready to take on the next challenge!
